When creating this lame, we wanted something made of natural materials that offered a bit more customization than others we’ve used on the market, and we’re pretty pleased with the result.
Cut from solid cherrywood, the brass tightening knob threads through the handle and blade guard to retract or extend the razor, placing the weight of the lame at the most optimal fulcrum for precision scoring. The brass rivet lets you fine-tune blade exposure depending on grip and angle, because no two hands are the same. The result is a straightforward, well-balanced lame that does what it’s supposed to do and tucks away when it’s done.
